Accommodations in the Payne House

The Payne House is the newest addition to the inn and offers our one and only dog-friendly room.  It also houses our Office/Front Desk and Gift Shop, open daily from 7am-5pm.

Turley Suite  $175-$195

Named after John and Kate’s beloved first dog, Turley, this suite is a guest and dog-lover favorite. Enjoy the stunningly large master suite with a huge en suite bathroom that features a walk-in shower, antique claw-foot tub, and his and hers vanities. The suite has two large skylights in the room giving it a warm and airy feel. Open one of the many doors from the room to the outdoor porch and staircase that leads to the large yard (please pick up after your pet!). Take a dip in the stream that runs behind the property, or just relax on the large wrap-around porch.  While there is a fireplace pictured, it is not operational.

The Inn at Gristmill Square is a boutique inn located in the little town of Warm Springs Virginia.  The main road in town bisects the property creating a unique village-like feel.  Located deep within the ancient mountains of the George Washington National Forest in the Allegheny Highlands, lush forests, quiet back roads, and ancient mineral springs create the perfect places to relax and rejuvenate.  Step back in time and enjoy dinner at the award-winning Waterwheel Restaurant located in our renovated mill that sits along the Warm Springs run.                               

Upon obtaining the inn and restaurant, owners John and Kate Loeffler committed to pouring their hearts and souls into creating an inn and restaurant that is a premier destination for food and travel lovers.
