As a valued guest of The Inn at Gristmill Square, we appreciate your ongoing support. Recognizing the continued and increased uncertainty that coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing around the world, our highest priority is the health and wellbeing of our guests and staff. With that in mind we wanted to update you on the actions we have taken in response to the outbreak.

Cancellation policy & booking flexibility

We understand flexibility is key during uncertain times and that’s why we’re adjusting our cancellation policies. Now through March 31, 2020, for any cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival we are issuing gift certificates in the amount of deposits paid that can be used anytime in the future (up two 2 years from now rather than 1).  We are also allowing guests to move their reservations to a future stay with no notice required for modifying your stay.  We are, however, still enforcing our cancellation fee, but we are decreasing it from 10% of your deposit paid to 5%.  We know this might frustrate some, but please know that we are just a small business that is struggling to stay afloat in these uncertain times.  The cancellation fee is truly just an administrative fee to cover the credit card processing charges.  To avoid the fee please opt for a gift certificate or to modify your reservation!

During your stay

Rest assured our standard cleaning routines are very thorough; however, during this time, we have increased our efforts throughout the inn at restaurant. These actions include, but are not limited to, cleaning and disinfecting hard surfaces and frequently touched items in guest rooms and throughout the public spaces of each hotel.  We are also ensuring our staff have disposable wipes with them at all times to clean commonly used surfaces like phones, remotes, door knobs, etc. It’s also important to note that our cleaning materials and supplies meet or exceed industry standards.

The focus on cleanliness and sanitation is imperative to our daily operation and has always been a top priority for our Inn. These additional measures will work to help ensure we continue to provide a safe environment for our guests.
